This album was the second release for SlaveHead. This time, they had
experience and a little extra desire for a good product. They decided that nobody knew how
to record them quite like themselves. On that day, the Kautin Field went from an idea
they'd all had to something that would go on the be used by other bands around New
Liskeard and as far as Sudbury.
SlaveHead also started using a Low "C" tunning on this
album for songs like "Cut N Bruise", "Rock The Pigeon", "I Don't
Know" and "One More Fix". This helped with a bigger sound and a better end
product. Because this was the first attempt at self-recording, the sound quality isn't
outstanding, but it is still good enough and most members of the band prefer listening to
Choke than the Self Titled album.
